Artist Bio

The Midnight Wishers was written, recorded, and produced by Curtis Godino in his bedroom. Some lyrics co written by Jin Lee, Vocals recorded at Bug sound east with Paul D Millar overseeing everything.

Curtis Godino is a multidisciplinary artist residing in Brooklyn NY. May be known for his light show work as Drippy Eye Projections and collaboration with Johua White and The Joshua Light show. Founder of the experimental psychedelic band Worthless and collaborator of Fog window, a musical group consisting of Gary Panter, Ross Goldestein, Devin Flynn, and Lily Rogers. 

I was always a fan of girl groups and old generic love songs. No matter how cheesy, they always get stuck in my head so I decided I would try to make some of my own with the help of my friends.

The voices on the album belong to Jin Lee, Racheal Herman, and Jessica McFarland. Jin Lee lives in brooklyn and is a photographer and general freak. Shes also a musician in her free time. We also have a synth punk band called Rambo together. Rachel Herman is a radio DJ and violin aficionado. Jessica McFarland has been playing in bands such as Heavy Cream, Savoy Motel, and Peoples Court since the early 00s and is also an excellent seamstress. Thanks to my three pals this record was possible. Paul D Millar lent his studio, Bug Sound East, and sonic expertise for vocals and mixing really frying it even further. 

This project started as a quarantine pastime and now has a full album of music drenched in tape manipulation and processing. Songs so sweet they’ll give you a cavity.
