White Cliffs has released a new double single Heart Start / On Call on independent tastemaker label Foreign Family Collective.  The Brooklyn-based producer/guitarist/singer revealed the lead track “Heart Start (feat. Ricky James)” late last night, with music site Pilerats calling it, “a bright and summery electronic affair, with vocals feeling warm and at home above White Cliffs’ guitar-infused production, driven by intricate percussion work and thick layers of lush synth.”

“When I first heard ODESZA’s music I was just getting into production,” says White Cliffs.  “They were one of the artists that I took a ton of influence from when it came to sound design and vocal manipulation, so getting a call from them this Fall was wild to say the least.”

The release is White Cliffs’ first on Foreign Family Collective, and comes in the lead-up to his 22-show North American tour supporting labelmate Big Wild.  The live instrumentation on the new recordings will come through in White Cliffs’ live show, which has the artist playing guitar and drums on stage.
