Touring in support of their new album “Hour of the Wolf”, Brooklyn-based rock band Country Mice is quickly gaining recognition across the country for their electrifying, high-energy live shows. Blazing guitar solos, heavy drums, poetic lyrics and extended psych jams have all contributed to the rapidly growing fan base. Country Mice have drawn comparisons to Wilco, Neil Young, The Byrds and Dinosaur Jr. Their debut album, 2011’s “Twister”, garnered rave reviews and appeared on several top 100 albums-of-the-year lists.
In February 2013, Country Mice released “Hour of the Wolf”, produced by Doug Boehm (Girls, The Whigs). The newest incarnation of the group includes original members Jason Rueger on guitar and lead vocals, Ben Bullington on guitar and backing vocals, Mike Feldman on bass, and sees the addition of Austin Nelson on drums. The new album has already been featured on iTunes and Spotify.
