BIOGRAPHY

What started as a modest DIY event on a Bushwick street corner in 2009, Out In The Streets has steadily grown into a reliable outlet for premiere Brooklyn bands and artists. With the amazing help of local businesses over the years, the hyper-local micro music & arts festival is a passionate community effort that has resulted in an exciting multimedia event that is widely anticipated throughout the region.

A wide array of exciting bands have graced the OUT IN THE STREETS main stage in past years, including memorable sets by A Place To Bury Strangers, Frankie Rose, Potty Mouth, Weyes Blood, The So So Glos, Mr Twin Sister, Body Language, Honduras, Psychic Twin, TEEN, PILL, B Boys, Big Ups, Doldrums, EZTV, Beverly, Pictureplane, Cities Aviv, Guerilla Toss, Hunters, Future Punx, + many more.

Out In The Streets is presented by Scot Bowman of The Sky Report & Newtown Radio, David Teller of BirdDog Promo, & Gabo Rodriguez of Supercrush Studio – a collective of Bushwick tastemakers who have continually produced exciting shows throughout Brooklyn and beyond – along with additional support from the good folks at Archie’s Records, Newtown Radio, Wyckoff Starr, and Tell All Your Friends.
