EXIT SOMEONE SHARES "ABSENT LOVER" TRACK VIA GORILLA VS. BEARRead More
Exit Someone is a pop band from Montreal formed by Thom Gillies and June Moon. Together their sound elicits relaxed, resonant pop melodies and rhapsodic poetry. Sharing the mic, their lyrics narrate the essence of love and loss with a fixation on symbolic imagery. The couple met in the summer of 2015 playing a show in Montréal, and formed a song-writing partnership shortly after. Dry Your Eyes is their first release and defines a becoming time of musical spontaneity, available now on digital and cassette via Atelier Ciseaux Records. The first single “Absent Lover” off their upcoming “Equal Trouble” LP is also now available digitally.
“a hopelessly romantic collection of effortlessly melodic and sinuous soft-pop”
– Gorilla vs. Bear (on ‘Dry Your Eyes’ EP)
“a story steeped in romance and spontaneity, intangible forces reaching out from the ether to bring them together and bring this music out of them.” – Exclaim! (on ‘Dry Your Eyes’ EP)
