BIOGRAPHY

Bark Bark Disco comes from the island state of Malta (Europe). They performed their debut concert supporting Bonnie Prince Billy (Will Oldham) in a masonic cemetery in 2014. Their debut single "Song for the Lovers" which was a tribute to 70s cult actress Brigitte Lahaie received half a million views on YouTube in under two weeks, prompting the band to be invited to tour Japan, France, Germany etc. Singer songwriter Ian Schranz (also a member of Beangrowers and The Shh) defines the band’s sound as "New Wave Low Fi”. The band is a regular fixture on BBC6 for DJs such as Tom Robinsons.
